NAME: Zero to One: An Alumni’s Story of Change
This documentary is about an alumni’s initiative leading to face-lifting of the place he hails from into place of opportunities – for skills, talent, planning and investments to flow in; and a story showing how things gradually fall in place in the journey of ‘zero to one’. The place in question is Nabarangpur District in South west Odisha, situated 600 Kms. away from Bhubaneswar, Left Wing Extremist affected, sharing jungle borders with Chattisgargh; house to about 13.5 lakhs people with around 70.32% Scheduled category comprising 55.79% tribals and 14.53% Scheduled Cast: 92.82% population living in rural areas; and was tagged as ‘District Zero’ in recent times. Govindalaya since 2012 has been working in this district to reduce inequality within and among countries (SDG 10)
Till date, the film has received 1 Award and recognition in 15 International Film Festivals. The film is currently streaming on the following VOD/OTT Platforms.
